I promised you something sweet and warm!
Figs are in season, so let’s make most of it! I had some filo pastry left in my fridge and decided to put this delicious dessert together.
No technical skill needed!
1. Gently place a few layers of the filo pastry in a muffin tin and bake until almost crisp.
2. Cut the figs in quarters but leave the bottom in tack.
3. Heat a pan of 1-2 tablespoons of honey and Rosemary until the mixture browns slightly.
4. Now assemble by placing the fig into the filo, drizzle the honey and place into the oven for about 10 minutes.
Once out of the oven, plate up and serve with a dollop of mascarpone! Don’t forget a sprinkling of crushed caramel or ginger biscuits for that added texture.
Eat up and enjoy!
