Shall we continue?
I’ve slowly become accustomed to the wintery, and occasionally snowy, Christmas festivities after being in the UK for the past 7 years. So having a warm Christmas took a little adjusting to.
We decided to take the hassle out of cooking Christmas lunch and retreated to The Palace Downtown Dubai, for a buffet fit for kings!
Oh yes, you saw that right, it’s a giant lobster.
Lamb chops, turkey, roast beef, duck. You name it, they had it!
And of course it isn’t Christmas without a visit from Santa!
A very merry me after a few drinks and a full belly!
Dubai isn’t a place for those woolly Christmas jumpers so I sported a simple lace dress from Zara.
There is no shortage of Ferraris in Dubai that’s for sure! I wasn’t the only one admiring these beauties.
After our heavy and fulfilling lunch that we braved through for 4 hours, we headed home to sink into slouchy attire. It’s safe to say most of us took a snooze shortly after.
Boxing day took us to an evening stroll through Jumeirah Beach Residence.
I’ve got a sweet treat to share in my next post!
Giant hint on my instagram if you’re a fellow follower.
That is one huge lobster!!!
